i'm a fresh grad and i want to be a speechwriter. at least, i think i do. wat are the advantages to the job?

i just would want to know what i'm getting myself into. is speechwriting a job that can support and improve myself? i'm from the philippines and replies from kababayans will be most appreciated. rest assured the info won't be misused. thanks in advance.
