I work with someone that hates women? What do I do?

I work with a man that lives with his mother and is in likeness to Norman Bates. He must hate women because he treats every woman as inferior to him and just talks down to them in general really badly like they can't even handle basic tasks like alphabetizing. He was recently put on a 2 day suspension for yelling at my boss who is no surprise a woman. I don't know why he is still at my job. He is egotistical, mean, and just a creep in general which nobody really can stand. He needs to get out of there and I feel really uncomfortable around him now knowing he can ';lose it'; any time. What can I do to let this creep know that even though my workplace tolerates his crap I won't without getting myself in trouble? He has been there longer than me and I do stand up for myself but the whole situation makes me so angry I hate working with him.
